What do I do when I arrive for my event?
Make your way to the main reception of the stadium, where you will be guided to your designated suite. All our meeting and event rooms are located in the West Stand, with access through the main reception.

Can we leave our car in the car park overnight?
Cars can be left overnight but must be collected the next morning. All cars are left at the owner's own risk. Cars left the night before a matchday must be collected by 8 am the following day.

Where is the main car park?
The main car park is located at the Select Car Leasing Stadium in the Blue Car Park, opposite the Megastore.

I don’t know the location of the event I am attending?
We would suggest you make contact with the event organiser and request a set of joining instructions. Due to GDPR, we would not be allowed to give out any details.

Where is the stadium’s main reception?
In the west stand, located in the Blue Car Park.

What is the best postcode to use when travelling to the stadium by car?
The stadium’s postcode is RG2 0FL.

How far is the Select Car Leasing Stadium from Reading train station?
The train station is approximately 2.5 miles away – around 10 minutes in a taxi or 30 minutes on the bus.

What is the local taxi number?
Our taxi partner is Top Cars – 0118 944 2222.

How many onsite car parking spaces do you have?
We have 2000 spaces on site.

Do you have any nearby accommodation?
Voco Reading is located within the stadium complex, with internal access between the conference centre and hotel. Please refer to accommodation for details on rooms available.

Can we go on to the pitch for photos?
No, however, we can take your group into the stadium bowl to have a group photo in the stadium seats. The Select Car Leasing Stadium background makes a great team photo opportunity!

When can we come to see the venue?
You can book an appointment with the conference & events team as to when the room is free to view. Alternatively, check out our virtual tours, located on our facilities page.

I’d love to work for the catering team – how can I go about this?
The catering at the club is provided by Levy UK & Ireland, part of global caterer Compass Group. Please visit www.compasseventjobs.co.uk and submit an enquiry – One of the recruitment team will be in touch if we’re in a position to pursue.

Do you offer external catering packages?
Yes, we do, please contact the events team to discuss the packages.

Food & drink

Do the conference and events team provide allergen information?

Yes, in line with the food information regulation (fir) 2014, we provide allergen information on all products served, whether that be food, or drink. Please ask the duty manager who will be able to provide you with this information.

Do the conference and events team cater for special dietary requests?
We are happy to help with any dietary requirements and will find a tasty solution for most requests. Please do feel free to call one of the conference and events team before your visit to discuss or speak to your dedicated duty manager on arrival.

Do the conference and events team cater for vegetarians?
Yes, our current menu has many dishes suitable for vegetarians. To get your appetite going, have a look at our food section.

Do the conference and events team use halal meat?
We offer a wide choice of dishes, and across these, use non-halal products. However, upon prior request, we are able to source halal products. All halal products are prepared at source; our kitchens don’t operate halal procedures.

Do the conference and events team source locally sourced products?
Yes, where ever possible, we strive to use local produce throughout our business.

How are the dishes on the menu decided?
We listen to feedback from our guests and where possible try to work suggestions into the menus. Our head chef works very closely with our local chefs to create new and exciting dishes.

Do the conference and events team recycle?
We recycle food products where we can to create new dishes for delegates.

Can the conference and events team provide kosher meals?
Yes, we are able to order kosher meals from our supplier. Please liaise with the conference and events team for more information. Please note, our kitchens don’t operate kosher procedures.

Can I pre order drinks?
Yes, we offer a drinks pre order service.  Once you have booked your event one of our coordinators will send you a pre-order form with all the drinks package information.

Can I take home any unopened or unfinished drinks that have been pre ordered or bought on the night?
Unfortunately not. Our policy is that no alcohol can be taken out of the stadium and all drinks purchased must be consumed on the premises only.

Can I bring my own drinks in for my event?
The general rule of thumb is no, however, with prior agreement with our conference and events team, we can come to an arrangement with a corkage package.

There is food left over from an event I have been too, can I take it home?
No, due to food safety regulations, all left over food must be disposed of.
